For several years, we have been involved as planners and a sponsor in local non-profit MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION’s largest fundraising event of the year, The Mammoth Invitational. Each year, we look forward to the event and a new theme.
This year, we absolutely loved being in charge of all decor and entertainment. Especially when we were able to help set the themes of “Black Light Arcade Party” and “80’s Prom” Gala Auction and Dinner. On Friday night, we transformed a conference space (that was formerly a Gondola loading room) into the coolest arcade ever by bringing in black lights, glow-in-the dark games, furniture, and a make-up station; plus real 80’s arcade games (can you say Pac Man?) and a live performance by the Spazmadics!
Saturday’s 80’s Prom took everyone back to the days of crepe paper streamers, tulle, pastel balloons, big hair and (dare we say) artificially dyed carnations! it was a successful event that raised money for our local kids’ athletic and academic programs and we were honored to be a part of it
