Alyssa + Will

Alyssa and Will are such an awesome couple and we were so happy to be a part of their wedding at the Double Eagle Resort and Spa. Alyssa and Will called us in to assist in the final stretch of their wedding due to some unexpected challenges.

These two are avid hikers and explorers (as you will see in the photos they went on a two week Eastern Sierra backpacking trip immediately following their wedding), and they are also some of the most creative people we have ever met.  They completely restored a standard school bus and turned it into a vintage modern sanctuary that they now call home. Their family and friends gathered in the beautiful town of June Lake, CA for their wedding celebration at the Double Eagle Resort and Spa. Most of their guests stayed on-site in the various cabins around the property. Their ceremony took place in front of the pond with one of the most stunning Sierra Nevada backdrops towering behind them.

Their reception followed on the deck of the Eagle’s Landing Resturant, where guests sipped on cocktails and enjoyed live music and a delicious spread of passed appetizers. One of our favorite elements of this wedding was the decor and detail on the tables at their reception. Beautiful fall garlands were spread across the wooden tables which were set with gold chargers and white napkins.  The mix of nature and elegance seemed perfectly fitting for this couple!
